The Waunakee Rotary Club approved an ambitious and challenging civic project as part of its celebration for the2005 Rotary Centennial. With the support and cooperation of the Village of Waunakee, the club has designed and is in the process of constructing a public plaza area on the grounds of the Waunakee Village Hall. The planning and design protion of the project began in the fall of 2003 and the physical construction began in June of 2004. A final completion date of the fall of 2004 has been projected.




The total projected materials and professional expense for the project is estimated to be about $ 30,000 dollars, in addition to the donated equipment use and advise of local businesses and contractors and the labor which will be furnished by club members
