Rotary E-Club of Southern Scotland
Oct 29, 2020
Chartered in 2010 as a traditional Rotary club, the Club took the brave decision five years later to become an eClub and go online. In this day of COVID-19, traditional clubs are finding that this is a medium that is helping them to remain active as Rotarians. So you could say the eClub was ahead of its time. With a flexible and informal view of Rotary, the Club is able to stay fresh and attractive in the current environment |

Rotary Pier Project
Nov 12, 2020
Our Rotary club has been working toward a handicap pier for the last decade. We felt with the wrap up of several large capital campaigns, including the Waunakee Public Library, Shumacher farms, athletic field(s)” etc this would be an excellent sesqui-centennial (don’t know if I spelled this correctly) project for both Rotary and the Village. Several Rotarians have been meeting since the beginning of the year with the Village to move this project forward which was formally approved on November 4th. The ADA compliant pier will provide access to the pond for not only fishing but wildlife viewing and just simple relaxing for all ages and mobility. |

The new pier is in at the Village Center Pond. 60's and Sunny! Phil wants to see if Ray's engineering will hold. ( I'm betting on Ray.) Everyone is welcome . BYO so no cross pollination. Wear a mask til you have to sip one down. A little greasy on the driveway but the pier is aluminum. Register to let others know you are attending |
