Do you know how much it costs to incarcerate someone in Dane County, and perhaps think of how that money could be better used?  Do you know the recidivism rate in Dane County?  Do you know how many people are living in Wisconsin jails and prison?  Your eyes will be opened and your jaw will drop when you hear statistics.

Aviation

Jul 21, 2022

Waunakee is a lucky little town to have a small airport, and we are lucky to have a full service MSN Airport just a few miles away.  The first plane by the Wright Brothers traveled 12-feet in 12 seconds, and they flipped a coin to see who would be the pilot as the plane could only handle the weight of one person.  Now the Boeing 737 holds 300 people plus food, luggage, and mechanicals, and travels 10 miles per minute!  Learn about the miracle of flight, some world statistics, and a little background on becoming a private pilot.
