Liz Deihs kept her classification talk short at the March 1 Waunakee Rotary meeting.
A graduate of Oregon High School, Liz was raised there, and showed pictures of her mother, step-father and two sisters, along with their children.
Her first job was a Oregon Community Bank, and she later went to work for US Cellular.
She then joined Waunakee Community Bank and was there for a year doing treasurer management. She is now retail banking manager there.
Liz has a boyfriend, Pete, and enjoys kick boxing, golf, trying different foods, spinning and running. She started attending Rotary with Allison Feldbruegge.

March 1 was also club assembly and committee chairs made a few announcements. Two students are going to the World Affairs seminar, and the club may provide a scholarship for another student to attend.
The Whitetails dinner was a success. Super Raffle is March 7, and all tickets have been sold.
Between four and five students have signed up for RYLA, the Rotary Youth Leadership event. Lori Derauf said two families have expressed interest in hosting the next exchange student next year; one more is needed.
Nick Mischler reported on the sculpture committee’s progress in raising funds for that piece at the high school. So far, $86,000 has been raised for an artist to create a sculpture at the Waunakee High School entrance. The committee’s requests for funds will be taken up by the Westport Town Board Monday. A donation is also expected from the Friends of the Waunakee Performing Arts.
The Easter Egg Hunt is set for March 24 at Endres Manufacturing. Show up at 8 a.m.; the hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
