The new Lamphouse apartments on Main Street is just about complete, and two representatives of that development gave their classification talks at the Nov. 14 Waunakee Rotary meeting.
Karli Pagluighi is the manager. She’s moved around a lot in her life. Born in New Jersey, Karli and her family moved to Maryland, and she spent most of her childhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, before moving to Buffalo, New York, where her family is from.
Karli attended college at Oswego State where she met her husband, Alex. He is in the service, so they lived at Fort Drum before moving to Oklahoma, then Kansas and finally to Madison last year.
They have two dogs.
Karli is certified in SCUBA diving and enjoys the outdoors, swimming, paddle boarding and hiking.
Andrew Hovde was born in Madison in 1988 and grew up on the North Side. He attended Edgewood High School and then UW-Madison and is a 2012 graduate. He has worked at the Rodeside Grill in Windsor, the Madison Police Department and other places. After he realized real estate ran in his family, he entered that field and eventually joined Hovde Properties.
Andrew and his wife have four dogs and two cats. He enjoys snowboarding, Frisbee and all Badger sports.
Karli said the Lamphouse construction is just wrapping up and is at 50 percent occupancy. It includes three residential floors with retail at the front of the first floor. A restaurant may occupy one of the retail spaces.
Many of the units have floor to ceiling windows.
The fourth story houses a gym area and a community room.
