Rex Endres, who has hosted our Rotary meetings at his Rex’s Innkeeper, passed away July 5 of a heart attack. The club took the July 8 meeting to fondly remember him as a mentor and a friend. The night prior, hundreds in the community gathered with his family and close friends at a candlelight vigil at Rex’s, as well. Rex will definitely missed.

-People are needed to sign up for the senior picnic on July 14. The club is expecting a large crowd. See Jim Kattner’s emails for a link to the sign-up.
-Members are also needed to fill the volunteer shifts at WaunaFest, July 22-25. A sign-up sheet went around. Help is needed with set-up and working the food stand.
-President Ross Mauer said more help is needed from club members all around. He urged us to make a mid-year resolution to help a little more with some of the many duties. Currently, just a handful of people take care of most of the duties.
